A highly unusual George IV Gillows Mahogany chamber table. Having a single drawer with dummy drawer to the back, all with the beautiful original handles. The top conceals a compartment for ink wells with pen tray This chamber table has the addition of side flaps giving a greater working surface if needed. With reeded edges and raised on slender reeded tapering legs with original castors. Lovely colour with original finish. Atb. Gillows, English, Circa 1825.
