A fine 19th century bedroom chair by renowned makers Gillows for upholstery. This solid Goncalo Alves chair having carved scrolled arms with a shapely back. Raised on reeded tapering legs with original high quality brass lacquered castors. Beautiful rich colour and patina throughout. Retaining the original horse hair stuffing. English, Circa 1830, Stamped.
