A rare pair of Mahogany upholstered chairs by Gillows.  These upholstered armchairs retaining the original horse hair stuffing with a sprung seat and buttoned backs.  Raised on turned Mahogany front legs with strong back legs and original castors.  Superb quality and condition throughout and now in need of upholstery.  English, Circa 1870.  Stamped Gillow.
