A spectacular Rosewood sofa by renowned makers Gillows, having scrolled arms decorated with acanthus leaf carving and raised on gadrooned legs with superb original lacquered brass cup castors. The back and arms re-webbed and retain the original horse hair stuffing, the seat requiring webbing and swab cushion. English, Circa 1825.
