Rare 19th C. Padouk Campaign Table

A rare and super quality solid Padouk campaign table.  Having a rectangular top with a gadrooned moulded edge, raised on 2 beautiful carved trestle supports with moulded edge.  Retaining the original brass inset handles and locks.  The drawers all Padouk lined and the centre drawer fitted for stationary with 2 tiered trays.  Retaining the wonderful original finish with good colour and luster throughout.  This campaign breaks down into sections for travelling and comes with the original beehive handle which releases the brass mechanism.  A truly wonderful piece of history and useful table. Anglo Indian, Circa 1860.
