A rare mid 19th century Irish overmantle mirror of large proportions, having an ebonised and water gilded surround, decorated in silvered glass cabochons. This beautiful mirror retains the original mirror plate of which gives a good clear reflection along with the original panelled back. Irish, Circa 1860.
