A superb Sheraton period bookcase of the highest quality, having an arched cornice with decorative astral glazed doors, these open to reveal the silk lined interior with the 4 original adjustable shelves. Beneath is a beautifully fitted secretaire drawer with inset leather writing surface, a further 4 full length Mahogany lined drawers beneath and the whole raised on shaped splay feet. Excellent condition throughout with good colour and lustre. The piece breaks down into 2 sections. English, Circa 1790.
