A lovely example of a 19th century Mahogany miniature chest of drawers. Having an arrangement of 2 short and three full length drawers. This little chest retaining all the original ebony handles, brass locks and escutcheons, the whole raised on a plinth base. Signed and dated by the cabinet maker, giving a little insight to his maker. English 1881.
The chest signed in pencil "James Webber, Cabinet maker Barnstaple, New Buildings. May 1881, in his 79th year".
