A beautiful example of an early 19th century Ash country chair from the Shropshire area. This well proportioned chair having outstanding colour and patina, remarkably retaining the original rush seat of which is in excellent original condition. Having an upright back with spindle decoration, shaped arms supported on turned front legs and adjoined by carved stretcher rails. Comfortable, strong sturdy chair in excellent original condition throughout. Circa 1820
