This early example having a buttoned back with a sprung seat and raised on walnut legs with original high quality gilt lacquered Cope & Collinson brass castors. Retaining the original horse hair stuffing and recently recovered in Howard & Sons ticking. Numbered back leg, English, Circa 1850.
