A highly unusual George IV Mahogany chest of drawers, with outstanding original colour and patina.  This beautifully constructed chest made in the finest figured Mahogany throughout, fully Mahogany lined and retaining all of the original locks, key, handles, and escutcheons. Having a moulded top with reeded edged gallery rail.  The top secretaire drawers opens to reveal the original leather writing surface with an arrangement of stationary drawers, book space and a document shelf.  Beneath and to the left is an arrangement of 6 deep drawers hidden behind a cupboard door and mirrored by 3 large working drawers to the right. The whole flanked by reed pilasters with a gardrooned mould to the base and raised on stunning reeded squat bun feet.  Amazing quality, construction, in Superb original condition throughout.  English, Circa 1820.  Atb.
