A beautiful 19th century Ceylonese box, made from striking coromandel wood. The top opens up to reveal a compartmented fitted interior, inlaid in exotic timbers, ebony and bone with decorative inlaid elephants to the inside top. Superb original condition throughout with a rich lustre. Circa 1870.
