Gillows William IV Mahogany Wellington Chest

A fine quality William IV Mahogany Wellington Chest signed to underside of drawer "John Wilcock", recorded in the Gillows estimate sketch book, working between 1826-1850.

The top drawer hinges to reveal adjustable pigeon holes, the remaining 5 drawers are all complete with mahogany hinged dust covers.  The locking bar houses a concealed unusual lock with bramah style key.  In fabulous untouched condition with original finish and good lustre, made using the finest quality timber throughout.
