Description
A high quality early Victorian Walnut Canterbury Stool. having fret work decoration to all four panels of which are joined by Corinthian columns, raised on tapering feet, retaining the original porcelain and brass castors. The upholstered lift up lid covered in a subtle cream stripe, opens to reveal a fretted partition. Lovely condition throughout, made in good quality timber with a mellow colour and patina. circa 1840
